Speaking at Everything Open 2025

I’m pleased to announce that I’ve been selected as a speaker for Everything Open 2025. I’ll be presenting “Why 99% Of WordPress Vulnerabilities Are Utterly Irrelevant”, where I’ll be taking a deep dive into how to assess WordPress vulnerabilities and why CVEs don’t work in the WordPress space.

Everything Open is a national conference for Linux and other open source software hosted by Linux Australia every year. In 2025 it will be hosted at the Adelaide Convention Centre, from Monday January 20th to Wednesday January 22nd. I’m scheduled to speak at 4:40pm on Monday 20th.

The schedule is packed with quality speakers that I’m looking forward to hearding from, including a few I know from the WordPress world.

This will be my first time attending Everything Open or it’s predecesor linux.conf.au, and so I’m very grateful to have been selected. Linux Australia do help us run WordCamps here in Australia so it won’t be a completely foreign experience thankfully. I was enticed by the fact that this edition is local enough to not require flying and so I’m looking forward to this new experience and sharing my knowledge with a new audience.

Tickets are on sale now, so get your ticket before it’s too late.
